HOW DOES THIS WORK FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING?

The project Double Bubble shows that Guerrilla Marketing works well as a tool for promoting foreign language learning. Double Bubble aims to encourage people who are reluctant to learn foreign languages to overcome their disinclinations. These target groups are confronted with short, easy and understandable phrases in a foreign language - so called sneak in lessons- on advertising media such as posters, stickers or free gifts which demonstrate to them that understanding a foreign language is not as difficult as they thought. Furthermore, the method shows that language learning can be diverting and fun. "Sneak-in lessons" occur at places apart from any learning facility, where the target groups usually spend their leisure time.
